Gah... this is hitting my mind hard. Lon and I might be going to Japan. Part of me says "oh cool", but a larger part of me is going "noooooo". We only just finaly moved up on base. The kids haven't been able to stay at the same school for even a full year for a few years now. I don't like having to drag them around like this. Also... culture there is a bit more... ah..."exposed". (What we might call rated R for sex and such, they'd call PG 13.) (Yes Wulfe, I'm sure you'd love it.) ... there came 2 months of preparation. Lon and I decided to get married on September 3rd. This didn't allow much time at all to get everything done. You wouldn't believe how much work goes into setting up a wedding (though it can be quite fun at the same time). Despite all this, it turned out more than incredible, more like a dream come true. The monday before the wedding we started on the long drive to California. 6 to 12 hours of driving a day is not easy... though even harder when you have two kids to occupy.
